Today we remember Gene Roddenberry, the creater of the Star Trek Universe in which we play each week. Roddenberry passed away on October 24, 1991. When you stop to think about all the technology we have today because of this creation, or the ways in which Star Trek changed so much of the face of science fiction, you can’t help but stop and give a nod to the memory of the late Great Bird of the Galaxy.
