With as much as was going on outside the doors of Sickbay, Jorvan should have been seeing more activity. It was simply too quiet.
He looked around at the medical teams that were standing around, waiting for patients to treat. There were already two teams waiting at the main shuttlebay, and they were twiddling their thumbs at the moment.
With the station in a location where the pressure around the station was 1,750 times the normal air pressure at Starfleet Headquarters, Jorvan knew that someone had to come back sick. It was only a matter of time. The longer people spent on the station at that depth, the more likely it was, since he doubted that anyone had done anything to keep the pressure inside the station comfortably low as it descended… especially that far.
With no one in Sickbay, and the facility now ready for anything, Tav decided the best place to be was the shuttle bay, to be ready to triage and get any patients where they needed to go.
He headed that way.
