(21:21:39) CaptHarper: :: looks over at Navarro :: NAV: No shields, no slipstream...
(21:22:05) NAV_LtJG_Navarro: :: nods :: CO: Indeed. They still have warp capability, though, which could buy us time.
(21:22:12) CTO_LtC_Wolfe: :: considers the spear laying across his console, blood stained from where it was used to stab him. Repeatedly. Along with that knife, wherever it went. (21:22:13) XO_Cdr_Kuari: :: lies in a much more structured fashion, backwards with her head on her paws at the foot of the biobed, her tail drooping off the end where the pillow would be, her wings held tightly atop her back. (21:22:24) CSO_Cdr_Wright: Self: Just keep peeling the onion. :: begins decrypting the next layer of files ::

(21:24:12) MED_LtJG_Acacia: :: chuckles, putting a note in Wolfe's medical file to save any weapons he's impaled with. She moves to the next patient, regenerating an engineer's burns before sending him on his way. ::

(21:25:12) CaptHarper: :: debates whether or not she should trouble Lexy with this information ::
(21:25:37) TAC2_1LT_Grey: :: is still pacing, eyes scanning to all open doorways, hand still on the phaser ::
(21:26:41) CSO_Cdr_Wright: SCI: This layer is... complicated. It's taking some time to go through the algorithm. I'm not sure if it's time we can spare. How's it coming over there?
(21:28:36) SCI_LtJG_Jude: CSO: Uh. Ricky over here's mostly working on it. I think it's. getting? :: looks down, then up to Wright :: CSO: Somewhere?
(21:30:05) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: looks over her shoulder at Jude :: SCI: Well. At least that's a start.
(21:30:07) CMO_Lt_Tailor: ::also busy sucking down a hot cuppa, because without it she'd probably want to go crawl in her own blanket fort right about now::
(21:31:21) CaptHarper: :: eyeing the clock, deciding on a point soon that has been long enough to ask for an update ::
(21:31:57) XO_Cdr_Kuari: :: sighs heavily, noticing the tightness in her chest when she does so. It's not quite enough to make her wince, and she knows it's been healed, but there's still some recovering to do ::
(21:32:49) MED_LtJG_Acacia: :: gets around to the recovery ward, jumping slightly as she sees that Kuari's eyes are open. She approaches, leaning over into Kuari's view. :: XO: Commander?
(21:33:17) TAC2_1LT_Grey: :: is still pacing, but now actually leaning against the wall, entirely fixed on the working science officers ::
(21:33:21) XO_Cdr_Kuari: :: looks up at Acacia :: MED: Hello. When can I go back to duty?
(21:33:58) MED_LtJG_Acacia: :: blinks, standing up a bit straighter with a chuckle :: XO: Alright, good to see you chipper. You know where you are, how you got here?
(21:36:02) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: watches the files percolating through the algorithm, frustrated by the amount of time it's taking ::
(21:36:11) XO_Cdr_Kuari: MED: I do.
(21:37:17) MED_LtJG_Acacia: :: smiles, pulling out her tricorder to scan Kuari over, eyeing the results :: XO: A bit longer, we wait about thirty minutes after you wake up. Feeling alright?
(21:38:12) CSO_Cdr_Wright: SovEng> SCI: See, I think if we shunt power away from this conduit here... wait, will that work?
(21:38:12) CaptHarper: :: the clock hits that point: 45 minutes til the Xovul arrive :: *CSO* Harper to Wright.
(21:38:29) CSO_Cdr_Wright: *CO* Wright, here.
(21:39:25) XO_Cdr_Kuari: MED: Yes...a bit groggy and weak, but otherwise...all right.
(21:39:46) CaptHarper: :: with some effort, her voice remains even :: *CSO* We have 45 minutes at most now. How are things progressing there?
(21:39:55) SCI_LtJG_Jude: :: blinks, then looks at him, still internally screaming :: SovEng: Uh. I. Maybe?
(21:40:12) MED_LtJG_Acacia: :: bobs her head :: XO: That's good. Keep your fingers and toes moving and I'll have you out of here in no time.
(21:41:12) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: looks over that Jude and Ensign Ricky :: *CO* Not as quickly as hoped, Captain. I'm almost through another layer of decryption. Jude and the Sovereign engineer are still working on physically removing the hardware.
(21:42:35) XO_Cdr_Kuari: :: raises her head so she can properly wiggle her paws, looking down at them as she tries to determine why she must without asking why ::
(21:43:07) CEO_LtCdrQuinn: ::Sits at his desk, overlooking an unusually empty engineering. A good chunk of his crew are over on Endeavour, helping to cut down on the repair time. But just in case it's not enough, he's furiously crunching some numbers with the computer's help. ::
(21:43:30) CaptHarper: *CSO* Understood. Bear in mind that not all of that 45 minutes is available. I want you out of there with time to spare.
(21:43:58) MED_LtJG_Acacia: :: smiles, marking a note in the chart :: XO: I'll come back when the timer is up. Take a minute to rest. :: she gets up, hanging the chart back where it goes and moving on to the next person in recovery ::
(21:44:37) CSO_Cdr_Wright: *CO* Understood, Captain, but I can't give you an ETA. Tell me how much time I have and I'll do my best to get it done by then.
(21:45:26) CaptHarper: *CSO* 35 minutes.
(21:47:39) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: frowns down at the screen in front of her, still garbled with encrypted data :: *CO* I'll see what I can do, Captain. :: the frown is audible in her tone ::
(21:48:16) CaptHarper: :: reads Lexy's tone, but there's nothing she can do about it :: *CSO* Thank you, Commander. Atlantis out.
(21:48:27) TAC2_1LT_Grey: :: is perched on the counter she was sitting on, waiting as she dissembled her pistol, reassembling it back again without looking ::
(21:48:28) SCI_LtJG_Jude: Ricky: Uhh- what about disconnecting that thing? :: points at something at the back ::
(21:49:07) CSO_Cdr_Wright: SovEng> SCI: Well, see, I thought about that thing, but it looks like they rigged up this other thing to it that'll trigger something that's probably bad if we disconnect it.
(21:50:59) SCI_LtJG_Jude: Ricky: I'm sorry for being pretty much useless, but I've got nothing right now.
(21:51:23) CaptHarper: :: takes a breath and moves on :: CTO: Colonel, verify connectivity and remote detonation capability to the matter/anti-matter device aboard the station.
(21:52:02) CSO_Cdr_Wright: SovEng> SCI: It ain't your fault, though. These Xovul have taken what we in the engineering business call "extreme precautions" to make sure this data core wasn't goin' nowhere.
(21:52:47) CEO_LtCdrQuinn: ::Exhales deliberately as the first few simulations prove...less than promising.:: That's okay. That is okay. We don't need to make the entire trip back in one go.
(21:53:12) CTO_LtC_Wolfe: :: beeps and boops on his console before answering :: CO: Aye, Captain. We're good to go on our end. I've hacked into its interface and all I have to do is flip a switch.
(21:53:38) CaptHarper: CTO: ... Keep your hands off that switch.
(21:55:02) MED_LtJG_Acacia: :: releases a few people back to duty, taking a deep breath. She hopes the action stays slow for sick bay.. ::
(21:55:15) CTO_LtC_Wolfe: CO: ... Of course, Captain. It takes a bit more than that. When I flip it, I have to mean it. I'd hope you'd know me well enough by now. :: shakes his head ::
(21:55:37) CEO_LtCdrQuinn: ::Calculates how long of a slipstream jump they'd need to stay ahead of the Xovul warp drive, factoring in the time they'll need to calculate a new jump.:: Okay, that's a LITTLE less formidable. So long as I'm not too slow with the old pocket calculator.
(21:55:42) AmberSun: ::Still aimlessly plods through the ship, following trails of intense emotions, like a bloodhound on a scent.::
(21:55:52) CEO_LtCdrQuinn: :: Inputs the new parameters, and resets the simulations. ::
(21:56:32) CaptHarper: :: sighs, still not quite herself after that battle :: CTO: Of course, Colonel. My apologies.
(22:01:32) CaptHarper: CTO: I was not being entirely literal anyway.
(22:02:01) XO_Cdr_Kuari: :: closes her eyes, still wiggling her toes, keeping them out from under her chin. She's feeling sleepy... ::
(22:02:04) CTO_LtC_Wolfe: CO: I appreciate that. I will not hit it until we're ready to light up the station.
(22:02:16) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: makes a sound of triumph as her file transfer through the algorithm finally completes, followed by a sound of frustration as the peeling away of another layer reveals yet more layers beneath it ::
(22:03:06) MED_LtJG_Acacia: :: checks her watch, then her notes, then makes her way back to Kuari. She rests a hand on her hip, offering a hand in case Kuari needs it. :: XO: Alright, time to get up. Take it slowly.
(22:03:21) NAV_LtJG_Navarro: CO: Slipstream solution for the fleet ready, along with contingency warp course.
(22:04:13) CaptHarper: :: acknowledges both Navarro and Wolfe ::
(22:04:33) XO_Cdr_Kuari: :: pops her eyes open and smiles at Acacia, attempting to wake herself up. She slides her hindquarters off the bed, steadying herself and she acclimates ::
(22:04:35) TAC2_1LT_Grey: :: hops off the counter, moving closer to watch Wright carefully, keeping an eye on Jude and the other engineer ::
(22:05:55) MED_LtJG_Acacia: :: holds her arm out for a moment just in case, then pulls it back. She exhales :: XO: Alright, Commander, I can clear you for light duty. Just take it easy, and take any symptoms seriously.
(22:06:27) CaptHarper: :: sees more data coming into the isolated partition ::
(22:08:03) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: looks down at the garbled console, which is not really less garbled than before that it is differently garbled ::
(22:08:38) CEO_LtCdrQuinn: :: Pauses with a frown, something about that last sentence sounding funny to him. :: Pocket calculator...as in calculation speed.
(22:08:41) XO_Cdr_Kuari: MED: Will do! Thank you, doctor. I'm sure I'm needed on the bridge.
(22:09:31) MED_LtJG_Acacia: :: grins, nodding once :: XO: I'm sure the Captain will be glad to see you. :: she moves on to the next patient ::
(22:09:36) CEO_LtCdrQuinn: No, that's not possible...unless it is.
(22:11:34) XO_Cdr_Kuari: :: smiles as Acacia leaves her, then the smile disappears as her thoughts turn from self analysis to what must be done. Her first order of business would be to get to her quarters, where she should get a uniform. Taking one step at a time, she tests out her feet, making her way towards the door. She's quickly dropping to all fours for more stability, and doesn't have much trouble ::
(22:11:36) CEO_LtCdrQuinn: Computer, run a new simulation.Shields up, at full power, but split the output between the main and the navigational deflector. Then show me the relative CPU usage percentages.
(22:11:40) CaptHarper: :: watching the clock, time growing short ::
(22:13:22) CSO_Cdr_Wright: All: I... I think I might be nearing the final layer.
(22:13:53) SCI_LtJG_Jude: :: perks up, and stops internally screaming :: CSO: OH GREAT!
(22:14:05) CSO_Cdr_Wright: All: I have to choose the right file from these eight files and not be wrong.
(22:14:28) TAC2_1LT_Grey: :: is remaining close by, looking to Wright :: CSO: Seems easier said than done, ma'am.
(22:14:34) SCI_LtJG_Jude: CSO: OH. Not great!
(22:15:21) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: looking at the clock, then back to her decryption algorithm :: SCI: I think... I think I can figure it out. I think.
(22:16:05) CaptHarper: :: she stops herself from calling Lexy, deciding that would not be helpful ::
(22:17:16) CaptHarper: ACTION> The other ships start to recall their away teams.
(22:17:42) CSO_Cdr_Wright: SovEng> All: They're callin' me back. Not much I can do here, anyway. Good luck!
(22:18:27) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: her hand hovers over the screen, about to choose one file, then another ::
(22:18:38) XO_Cdr_Kuari: :: takes a deep breath of victory after passing through the swooshing doors, finding as she tries to speed her gait into a trot she's forced to slow to a walk. It tests her patience, and she has to remind herself that she has to take it easy. She eventually makes it to her quarters, where she goes straight to the replicator and makes herself a new uniform. While putting it on, she finds herself momentarily distracted with her healed injuries, happy to find little to no scarring at all ::
(22:18:43) CSO_Cdr_Wright: SCI: If I get the wrong one, it'll spoil... ah!
(22:19:18) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: is thrilled when her decryption algorithm finally flags a single file and hopes to the heavens that she wrote the damn thing properly ::
(22:19:50) CSO_Cdr_Wright: Self: Here goes nothing! :: presses the flagged file ::
(22:20:05) CaptHarper: ACTION> Wright's efforts succeed!
(22:20:30) CEO_LtCdrQuinn: :: Looks at the simulation, and runs some numbers in his head, trying to extrapolate the results to the entire fleet. It's a rough, rough guess, but he just needs to decide if he's just wasting time with this entire line of thought. He...might not be. :: ...huh. You definitely need to think harder to stabilize a field from multiple sources. Bu
(22:20:31) CEO_LtCdrQuinn: t maybe not enough to be a deal breaker. Now, let's suppose the following formation...
(22:20:47) TAC2_1LT_Grey: :: sighs in relief ::
(22:20:52) CMO_Lt_Tailor: ::doesn't really understand what the away team is doing down there, but the tension on the bridge is super thick.. ::
(22:21:01) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: elated, initiates the final small file transfer along with the decryption key :: *CO* Wright to Harper.
(22:21:05) XO_Cdr_Kuari: :: gets her uniform on, quickly guzzles some water from underneath the tap in her bathroom, then walks out the door and down the corridor towards the bridge ::
(22:21:37) CaptHarper: *CSO* Harper here, go ahead. :: quite relieved to hear from Lexy, having been seconds away from calling her ::
(22:21:40) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: in her hurry, forgets to call Atlantis in general ::
(22:21:49) CEO_LtCdrQuinn: ::Places the various ships of their flotilla in a formation surrounding the Endeavour.:: Now, give me a new shield bubble. The main deflector on each ship, just another emitter.
(22:21:53) SCI_LtJG_Jude: OH THANK THE FOUR DEITIES :: stands up, and speed walks over to a wall and slaps her hands onto it, and face-walls ::
(22:22:00) CSO_Cdr_Wright: *CO* The final file transfer is complete.......now, and we're ready to beam out.
(22:22:43) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: hopes the files that they got will be good and not just garbled garbage ::
(22:22:45) CaptHarper: :: sees the partition now full of juicy data :: *CSO* Brilliant! I am bringing you home now.
(22:23:08) CaptHarper: :: locks on to the away team and energizes ::
(22:23:18) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: nods at Jude and Grey as they dematerialize ::
(22:23:23) CaptHarper: ACTION> The away team rematerializes in Atlantis's transporter room.
(22:23:33) CaptHarper: :: scans the station and sees no life signs ::
(22:23:48) CaptHarper: CTO: Colonel, verify that the station has no life signs aboard.
(22:23:56) TAC2_1LT_Grey: :: steps off the pad, heading towards the bridge to take her tactical position again, glad to see Wolfe up and moving ::
(22:24:06) SCI_LtJG_Jude: :: flops over onto the ground, not having paid attention that they were transporting ::
(22:24:06) CaptHarper: NAV: Move us to a safe distance and have the fleet follow.
(22:24:26) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: also steps off the pad and hurries through the corridors to the turbolift ::
(22:24:29) SCI_LtJG_Jude: :: and still was in her face-wall-plant position ::
(22:24:44) CTO_LtC_Wolfe: :: verifies :: CO: The station is clear, Ma'am.
(22:24:48) SCI_LtJG_Jude: :: gets up, rubs her face off, hoping nobody notices, and follows Wright ::
(22:24:50) NAV_LtJG_Navarro: CO: Aye ma'am. :: peels Atlantis away from her posture that had been staring at the station, and hightails it away ::
(22:25:17) CaptHarper: ACTION> The three other Federation ships follow, in formation.
(22:25:45) XO_Cdr_Kuari: :: stands up experimentally in the turbolift ride, and after ten seconds she drops back down, still too weak. She has doubts as to whether she's supposed to return to sickbay, but she reminds herself it's just weakness and it will get better over time. The bridge needs her right now. There will be time for rest later ::
(22:25:49) CaptHarper: :: flips through some of the data and finds a dreadnought schematic, the prize ::
(22:25:51) MED_LtJG_Acacia: :: runs a scan on one of the marines in recovery, checking the time and her notes before telling him to wait a while. She keeps an eye on everyone in sick bay. ::
(22:25:52) CMO_Lt_Tailor: Self: 'Bout time... ::swipes away the away team monitoring screen, glad to see they're home safe::
(22:27:18) CaptHarper: :: sends that right to tactical :: CTO: Gift for you, Colonel.
(22:27:35) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: exits the TL onto the Bridge and makes her way over to Kate at the Sci/Ops console ::
(22:28:11) CTO_LtC_Wolfe: :: looks at the data :: CO: Lovely. I'll be ready to put this to very good use.
(22:28:16) TAC2_1LT_Grey: :: grins brightly at the schematic visible, rubbing her hands together delightedly :: CO: Ooohhhh, yes please.
(22:28:27) CaptHarper: :: smiles when she sees Lexy, and stands to hand her the console with a gesture :: CSO: All yours, and well done over there.
(22:28:49) CaptHarper: CTO: Time til the dreadnoughts arrive, and are we at a safe distance?
(22:29:25) SCI_LtJG_Jude: :: walks over to her console and flops into the chair ::
(22:29:48) CEO_LtCdrQuinn: Holy shit...that may actually work.
(22:29:49) CTO_LtC_Wolfe: CO: At our current speed, we'll be a safe distance away in thirty seconds. Five minutes until the Xovul fleet arrives.
(22:30:20) NAV_LtJG_Navarro: CO: Endeavour still does not report shield capability, but estimates a few minutes until they have it.
(22:30:42) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: assumes her station and looks at the data herself, relieved to find that it's not garbled and useless after all ::
(22:30:44) CEO_LtCdrQuinn: ::Hesitates to put his ass on the line by getting the Captain's hopes up...but on the plus side, if this actually works, he may get his name in a technical manual! ::
(22:31:15) CaptHarper: NAV: Have the fleet ready for warp 9.5 then, to buy them that extra few minutes.
(22:32:15) NAV_LtJG_Navarro: CO: Ready, capitana.
(22:33:44) XO_Cdr_Kuari: :: arrives on the bridge a few minutes after Wright and Jude, subconsciously putting a spring to her step for show as she moves towards her chair, but it's half-hearted. She takes in everyone on the bridge ::
(22:34:27) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: looks up when Kuari arrives and smiles at her brightly ::
(22:34:39) CMO_Lt_Tailor: ::turns in surprise to see Kuari back on the bridge:: XO: I'm surprised Acacia cleared you so soon. How are you feeling?
(22:35:05) CaptHarper: :: beams as she sees Kuari :: XO: Welcome back! It is wonderful to have you back here and in one piece.
(22:36:08) XO_Cdr_Kuari: :: smiles at Harper and Wright, speaking to Tailor :: CMO: Weak, but alert and cleared for light duty. I'll make good use of this chair. My brain still works.
(22:37:28) CaptHarper: CTO: Assuming we are now clear, detonate the device.
(22:37:39) XO_Cdr_Kuari: :: eases herself gingerly onto her chair, her belly still sore ::
(22:38:02) CMO_Lt_Tailor: XO: Alright, just don't try to do any calisthenics or anything. I'm here if you need me.
(22:38:27) CaptHarper: :: faces toward the main viewer to watch ::
(22:38:41) XO_Cdr_Kuari: :: nods, grateful to know Tailor is there, then perks up at Harper's words and looks to the view screen, having a lot of catch-up to do ::
(22:38:43) CTO_LtC_Wolfe: CO: Aye, Captain. All ships clear. Detonating in five... four... :: works on his console for the entire countdown :: three... two... one... Detonate.
(22:38:50) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: also looks up at the main viewer ::
(22:39:00) TAC2_1LT_Grey: :: looks up at the main viewer ::
(22:39:24) CaptHarper: ACTION> The shipyard disappears in an instant as it is consumed in a single, blindingly bright white flash, leaving a debris cloud expanding in all directions.
(22:39:55) XO_Cdr_Kuari: :: shuts her eyes against the bright light ::
(22:40:11) CaptHarper: NAV: Warp 9.5, fleetwide.
(22:40:42) TAC2_1LT_Grey: :: grins as she settles at her station :::
(22:40:47) NAV_LtJG_Navarro: CO: Warp 9.5, aye. :: sends the command to the other ships, then engages ::
(22:41:05) CaptHarper: ACTION> The four Federation ships go to high warp, and the Xovul change course to give chase.
(22:41:39) CaptHarper: :: still standing, hands on her hips :: All: Good work, everyone, but we are not out of danger yet.
(22:42:40) CaptHarper: ACTION> The Xovul increase speed to warp 9.7.
(22:42:55) CTO_LtC_Wolfe: CO: The Xovul are gaining on us.
(22:43:03) CaptHarper: CTO: Time to intercept?
(22:43:26) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: furrows brow, confused as to why they are not in slipstream ::
(22:43:35) XO_Cdr_Kuari: :: wants to read the latest reports, but she finds her eyes darting between Wolfe and Harper ::
(22:44:02) CTO_LtC_Wolfe: CO: Five minutes.
(22:45:06) CaptHarper: NAV: Increase speed, fleet-wide, to warp 9.9.
(22:45:33) NAV_LtJG_Navarro: CO: Sí, capitana. :: sends the signal to the other ships, and then throttles up ::
(22:46:08) CaptHarper: CSO: Query Endeavour on their latest time estimate to having shields repaired, Commander.
(22:46:27) CaptHarper: ACTION> The Xovul increase speed to warp 9.95.
(22:46:29) MED_LtJG_Acacia: :: runs another scan on one of her patients and frowns, telling him he can't leave. She continues her scans, watching him carefully ::
(22:46:30) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: suddenly the reason they are not in slipstream clicks into place :: CO: Aye, Captain.
(22:48:08) CTO_LtC_Wolfe: CO: They are still gaining. They've increased their speed to Warp 9.95.
(22:48:39) CSO_Cdr_Wright: CO: They... report that they've run into some problems and they estimate 8 minutes to complete repairs. :: the pit of her stomach drops ::
(22:48:49) CaptHarper: NAV: Match that speed. :: bearing in mind the relative max speeds of Sovereign, Galaxy, and Prometheus-class ships ::
(22:49:18) NAV_LtJG_Navarro: CO: Warp 9.95, aye. :: throttles up further, knowing Atlantis can do this ::
(22:50:44) CaptHarper: ACTION> The Xovul increase speed to warp 9.975...
(22:51:26) XO_Cdr_Kuari: :: swallows hard, waiting in bated breath ::
(22:51:32) CTO_LtC_Wolfe: CO: They've increased their speed to Warp 9.975. They must really want to talk to us.
(22:51:37) TAC2_1LT_Grey: :: sighs, fingers poised for action ::
(22:51:50) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: fights back nervous laughter at Wolfe's comment ::
(22:52:14) CMO_Lt_Tailor: ::smirks::
(22:52:28) CaptHarper: CTO: We have more available speed, but do we need it? Stopping at 9.975 makes me think that's all they have. Time to intercept?
(22:53:47) CTO_LtC_Wolfe: CO: Time to intercept eight minutes.
(22:54:18) CaptHarper: :: thinks that report from Endeavour that said 8 minutes was several minutes ago :: CSO: And Endeavour?
(22:54:42) CEO_LtCdrQuinn: *CO* Engineering to bridge. Are we out of the woods up there? Because I may have something.
(22:55:17) CSO_Cdr_Wright: CO: Their current estimate is 3 minutes now, Captain.
(22:55:30) CaptHarper: CSO: Excellent. NAV: Maintain speed. No need to let them know we could go faster.
(22:55:37) CSO_Cdr_Wright: *CEO* Go ahead, Commander.
(22:55:57) CaptHarper: ACTION> The Xovul increase to warp 9.979.
(22:56:03) MED_LtJG_Acacia: :: orders a patient into surgery, relieved when Dr. Straynj agrees to take it. One of the marines had an internal bleed after his surgery, but fortunately it had been caught. Acacia takes a deep breath, and checks the next chart. ::
(22:56:23) CEO_LtCdrQuinn: ::Feels the hesitation mounting again, and pushes past it.:: *CO* I think we can get the entire fleet to slipstream. Shields or no shields.
(22:56:41) CTO_LtC_Wolfe: CO: And they're speeding up again. Now Warp 9.979.
(22:56:45) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: hears this and looks at Kate to see if she heard it as well ::
(22:56:58) CTO_LtC_Wolfe: CO: Time to intercept four minutes.
(22:57:09) CaptHarper: CTO: What does that— :: is cut off as he answers her question ::
(22:57:13) TAC2_1LT_Grey: :: sighs in disbelief, fingers poised for action ::
(22:57:18) CaptHarper: :: nods to Lexy ::
(22:57:31) CEO_LtCdrQuinn: *CO* But we'd have to drop out of warp for a minute to do it.
(22:57:55) XO_Cdr_Kuari: :: listens ::
(22:58:15) CaptHarper: *CEO* Stand by, Commander. Endeavour is almost ready for slipstream.
(22:58:33) CaptHarper: ACTION> Endeavour raises her shields!
(22:58:37) CEO_LtCdrQuinn: *CO* Aye, Captain.
(22:58:55) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: lets out a breath she didn't know she'd been holding when she sees the shield status change ::
(22:59:02) CaptHarper: ACTION> The Xovul manage to get up to warp 9.981.
(22:59:04) CSO_Cdr_Wright: CO: Endeavour's shields are up, Captain.
(22:59:30) XO_Cdr_Kuari: :: darts her eyes from Wright to Harper ::
(22:59:41) CaptHarper: CTO: Configure shield geometry for slipstream flight.
(22:59:42) CSO_Cdr_Wright: :: now actually looking at her fleetwide status screen, unhappy that she'd been caught unaware before ::
(22:59:49) CTO_LtC_Wolfe: CO: Captain... They're at Warp 9.981. It's taking a toll on their engines. Two and a half minutes to intercept.
(23:00:11) CaptHarper: NAV: Fleetwide, initiate slipstream when all are ready.
(23:00:24) CTO_LtC_Wolfe: CO: Aye, configuring shield geometry for Slipstream Flight. Shleld configuration... complete.
(23:00:45) NAV_LtJG_Navarro: :: initiates the poll, and when all ships report green, he kicks off the slipstream ::
(23:00:54) CaptHarper: ACTION> The slipstream tunnel forms ahead of the fleet, and finally, all four ships are pulled into slipstream, leaving the Xovul in the dust.
(23:00:56) XO_Cdr_Kuari: :: breathes a sigh as slipstream engages ::
