(21:00:41) LtKuari [TKirr@90-43-96-75.res.bhn.net] entered the room.
(21:01:16) VAdmBlackthorne: Hiya
(21:02:17) ColDougMcKnight [Mibbit@j-88-351-725-23.hsd6.ma.comcast.net] entered the room.
(21:02:20) VAdmBlackthorne: Evening
(21:02:22) ColDougMcKnight: Hey, guys!
(21:02:46) ColDougMcKnight: I'm afraid I'll likely be in and out for the first few minutes. Dinner is in progress.
(21:02:54) VAdmBlackthorne: Alrighty.
(21:02:56) ColDougMcKnight: The water refused to boil any faster.
(21:05:35) DoctorTav [bryan@90-43-96-75.res.bhn.net] entered the room.
(21:06:02) DoctorTav: And now, as myself, hello.
(21:06:10) VAdmBlackthorne: Hello
(21:10:45) CdrTKirr: As yourself?
(21:15:00) LtKuari: Piece of the TARDIS?
(21:15:21) LtKuari: Maybe a bit of the console... nothing nearly so "historic"
(21:20:22) CdrTKirr: I dropped a backboard on my foot. >_<
(21:20:30) VAdmBlackthorne: Ow
(21:20:36) ColDougMcKnight: Ouch. I hate it when that happens.
(21:23:04) DoctorTav: How often do you have that happen?
(21:23:42) ColDougMcKnight: Well, thanks. Now all the medical attention in the galaxy won't save that joke. And it was on life support to begin with.
(21:24:03) ColDougMcKnight: Seriously, though. You okay, Liz? Nothing broken, I hope?
(21:24:12) DoctorTav: All I did was euthanize.
(21:24:16) VAdmBlackthorne: Alright, hate to have to do this, but we're canceling for tonight. Only at half strength for the end of the end of this plot.
(21:24:27) CdrTKirr: I don't think anything's broken. It just hurts like hell.
(21:25:06) CdrTKirr: Could really use some 23rd century medicine right about now though.
(21:25:18) DoctorTav: I look forward to seeing what happens next. I'll text everyone who couldn't make it and take them on the guilt trip of their lives.
(21:25:25) ColDougMcKnight: We don't know for sure that they DON'T use aspirin in the 23rd century.
(21:26:14) CdrTKirr: No but they have better stuff I'm sure
(21:26:35) CdrTKirr: But... that's a good idea... asprin or ibuprofen? Or acetaminophen?
(21:26:47) CdrTKirr: I never know what to take...
(21:26:51) DoctorTav: Morphine
(21:26:59) CdrTKirr: Shut up, Doc.
(21:27:04) VAdmBlackthorne: Avoid acetominophen, it's bad for the liver.
(21:27:08) ColDougMcKnight: Um...well, muscles COULD be inflamed from that, I suppose. Which would suggest ibuprofin.
(21:27:12) DoctorTav: Sorry, I just felt qualified.
(21:27:15) CdrTKirr: I'll use it once a month, thank you
(21:27:16) VAdmBlackthorne: Alcohol works too.
(21:27:31) VAdmBlackthorne: It's also bad for the liver, but tastes better.
(21:27:32) CdrTKirr: It's certainly swelling I'm dealing with
(21:27:44) ColDougMcKnight: Aspirin's a general pain killer, though. And my understanding is they don't interact, so you could take both.
(21:27:45) CdrTKirr: The last thing I want is a blood thinner atm
(21:27:53) ColDougMcKnight: Ah, well never mind aspirin, then.
(21:28:10) CdrTKirr: If it's bruising
(21:28:14) CdrTKirr: Which it is
(21:28:41) CdrTKirr: ibuprofen it is then! =P
(21:29:13) CdrTKirr: Hey Harper, how was your week hun?
(21:32:53) LtLedaHarper: What, me? Ugh, busy. BUSY. But good, by and large.
(21:33:06) LtLedaHarper: I have to do a mental check when it's 'Harper'.
(21:33:17) LtLedaHarper: But I see my evil twin's not here.
(21:34:09) LtLedaHarper: All my hard garden work is getting drenched by a nice, cold, steady rain.
(21:35:50) ColDougMcKnight: I miss the rain already. Summer in New England is uniformly hot and sticky. Rain at least cools it down.
(21:36:04) LtLedaHarper: Ooooh, I do not miss New England summers one damn bit. :)
(21:36:24) DoctorTav: Sounds like summer in Florida. Of course, then after it rains in Florida, if you thought it was hot and sticky before...
(21:37:07) VAdmBlackthorne: Summer's generally pretty humid in the Virginia tidewater too.
(21:37:42) CdrTKirr: Yeah, I imagine it is. I sitll remember my first trip to D.C.
(21:37:59) CdrTKirr: My mom unpacked my suitcase and asked why everything was wet
(21:38:13) CdrTKirr: It was the air, mom, I swaer
(21:38:15) CdrTKirr: swear
(21:38:57) VAdmBlackthorne: That doesn't surprise me.
(21:39:11) LtLedaHarper: For it to be this damp is unusual. I was scrambling around before logging in yanking handfuls of old leaves out of the gutters.
(21:40:17) CdrTKirr: Aw lol
(21:40:53) LtLedaHarper: Hey, getting cold and wet is sort of a nice change of pace...it was 93 yesterday.
(21:41:04) CdrTKirr: It was 93 today. =/
(21:41:38) CdrTKirr: I think tomorrow I'll actually jump into the lake to cool off.
(21:41:51) LtLedaHarper: Oooohh, that sounds appealing.
(21:41:57) VAdmBlackthorne: Well why don't you just go jump in a lake then!
(21:42:35) LtLedaHarper: There are no lakes handy.
(21:42:40) LtLedaHarper: I could go jump in that puddle.
(21:43:05) CdrTKirr: I have people I have to tell that I'm busy before I jump in though
(21:43:25) CdrTKirr: I just won't tell them where. They don't like it when I jump in under the bridge where the ferry boats go through
(21:43:46) LtLedaHarper: Haha! Yes, I could see that not going over well. Which river?
(21:44:37) CdrTKirr: It's actually Crescent Lake, between Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
(21:45:09) CdrTKirr: Friday I'm gonna float over in front of HS and listen to the Star Wars music blast out from it =P
(21:45:12) LtLedaHarper: Oooooooooooo
(21:45:25) LtLedaHarper: I wish I were close enough to indulge in that kind of thing; I'm a terrible theme-park rat.
(21:45:39) CdrTKirr: Oh?
(21:45:52) LtLedaHarper: And it's those little wacky special side events that are the most awesome. In my long ago youth, I worked at Busch Gardens Williamsburg for a summer.
(21:46:01) LtLedaHarper: They keep getting 'prettiest park' awards for good reason.
(21:46:09) CdrTKirr: Ooh. =)
(21:46:33) LtLedaHarper: All we have locally is Elitch Gardens, which is a (pretty nice) wooden roller coaster with pretentions of grandeur.
(21:47:21) LtLedaHarper: In my even-longer ago youth I was a huge carousel rat...yes, I have very odd hobbies. It was the 80s. I didn't know any better.
(21:47:22) CdrTKirr: Wooden hurts =/
(21:47:37) LtLedaHarper: Wooden hurts, but it's so hard to beat the wonderful rattle of those rails. Nothing else is like it.
(21:47:45) CdrTKirr: I'm good without lol
(21:47:53) LtLedaHarper: I can forgive that.
(21:48:13) CdrTKirr: Anyway, good to see you tonight, we'll sim next week. =)
(21:48:18) LtLedaHarper: Good night, T'Kirr :)
(21:48:20) LtKuari left the room.
(21:48:24) CdrTKirr: Night!
(21:48:31) VAdmBlackthorne: Night T'Kirr!
(21:48:39) CdrTKirr: See ya, Mike.
(21:48:44) CdrTKirr left the room.
(21:48:45) DoctorTav: Good night everyone
(21:48:53) DoctorTav left the room.
(21:48:53) VAdmBlackthorne: G'night
(22:06:00) EnsUrist_ [xarph@s272-222.dsl.tsoft.com] entered the room.
(22:06:14) EnsUrist_: ((yay obama visiting facebook traffic ))
(22:12:51) VAdmBlackthorne: Sim's canceled anyway, try next week. :v:
(22:16:34) EnsUrist_: aightnl8
(22:16:40) EnsUrist_ left the room.
(22:33:42) LtLedaHarper left the room.
