(8:56:36 PM) CdrTKirr: Hello. ^_^
(9:00:31 PM) JorvanTav: People seem to be late this evening.
(9:00:51 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Yes....
(9:03:48 PM) CdrTKirr: They've just been unusually on time the last few weeks.
(9:04:03 PM) JorvanTav: Gotcha
(9:04:17 PM) JorvanTav: I was hoping everyone was turning over new leaves.
(9:05:11 PM) DrRoxanneCarre [Mibbit@209.181.tlu.npn] entered the room.
(9:05:38 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Hiya doc

(9:06:50 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Hey you two
(9:08:12 PM) CdrTKirr: Hey guys.
(9:08:18 PM) LtCmdrBusard: Heya
(9:08:30 PM) JorvanTav: Good evening to those I have not said hello to.

(9:10:06 PM) VAdmBlackthorne has changed the topic to: Tonight we can hopefully get main power back online and get out of this rocky mess we find ourselves hidden in. Sharks are still on patrol, Venya is still trying to find us, and Ashexana's likely sipping tea somewhere laughing at us.
(9:10:14 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Questions?
(9:10:28 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: :: aa ::
(9:11:07 PM) ColDougMcKnight: Nope.

(9:14:48 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: (you snooze you're on report!)
(9:14:58 PM) CdrHarper: :: loops around another asteroid ::
(9:15:09 PM) LtCmdrBusard: (Feh, Harvest Moon is too distracting!)
(9:16:19 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: +Engineering+ Blackthorne to Busard.
(9:16:25 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: (Un-distract!)
(9:16:29 PM) LtCmdrBusard: :: Sighs as she dons her helmet of Shame:: I swear to god, if I hear one comment about this thing, you're all going out the airlock. :: Heads over to the main power relay to get back to work::
(9:16:40 PM) LtCmdrBusard: +Blackthorne+ Busard here.
(9:16:55 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: +Busard+ How's the head? And my ship? In either order.
(9:17:45 PM) ColDougMcKnight: Quinn> :: Hunched over in Jeffries Tube 37F, Quinn is busily scanning the access panel in front of him, after which he sits back and dissects a holographic representation of the damaged ODN lines. He HATES poking around in these things in such cramped quarters to begin with, especially when he's going in blind. This way, he saves some time and hassle. ::
(9:18:08 PM) LtCmdrBusard: +Blackthorne+ Head is getting better. Ship, too. Expect to have main power online at 25 % within the next ten minutes. Hopefully we'll be close to full main power within an hour.
(9:18:32 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: +Busard+ Great news on both fronts. Keep me posted.
(9:18:46 PM) LtCmdrBusard: +Blackthorne+ Will do.
(9:18:56 PM) LtCmdrBusard: :: Gets a-tinkerin' ::
(9:19:33 PM) CdrTKirr: :: shares a look with Blackthorne, both happy for the good news ::

(9:23:40 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: :: the smile fades as his gaze returns to the power readouts::
(9:24:00 PM) ColDougMcKnight: Quinn> +Busard+ Chief, Quinn here, down in the bowels. How you doing up there? Also, has Blackthorne badgered an ETA out of you yet? Take those in any order you like.
(9:24:23 PM) CdrHarper left the room (quit: Quit: http://www.mibbit.com ajax IRC Client).
(9:25:17 PM) CdrHarper [Mibbit@nrgh-64-700-283-748.rcmdva.fios.verizon.net] entered the room.
(9:25:45 PM) CdrHarper: :: slowly approaches the asteroid and extends her landing struts ::
(9:25:48 PM) ColDougMcKnight: (WB)
(9:25:53 PM) LtCmdrBusard: +Quinn+ Hey Quinn, doing okay and yes. Looks like we're aiming for an hour for full power. It's a stretch, but I think we can do it. What are you doing right now?
(9:26:03 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: (My Harper mibbit window is not showing who is typing again :( )
(9:26:26 PM) LtCmdrBusard: (Booo)
(9:26:56 PM) CdrHarper: :: carefully matches the slight rotation of the surface and gently sets the Boudica down on the asteroid ::
(9:29:41 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Jack> :: has a carefully managed flock of family members and other assorted civilians in Ten-Forward, most of them soused ::
(9:29:44 PM) ColDougMcKnight: Quinn> +Busard+ Well, I just identified the fried components which are preventing power from getting to the impulse engines. Pretty sure I've got all the spares I need with me. We should be able to manage quarter impulse within the next 10 minutes. That ought to buy us...oh, five minutes at least without another status update request!
(9:31:18 PM) CdrHarper: :: satisfied, she lifts off again :::
(9:31:20 PM) LtCmdrBusard: +Quinn+ Hah, that's getting optimistic. More like two. :: Manages a smile as she gets the consoles on the Bridge online as main power starts to increase. At the moment they won't function much, but at least it's a start::
(9:34:16 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: ::: notes a bit of a power increase ::
(9:35:20 PM) CdrTKirr: :: notes the consoles spring to life ::
(9:36:28 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: The mains are coming online!
(9:36:40 PM) ColDougMcKnight: Quinn> +Busard+ Well, I'll see if I can get that up to half, then. Quinn out.
(9:36:43 PM) JorvanTav: :: enjoys the brighter glow coming from his board, and takes a moment to tally up what he can and cannot currently do ::
(9:36:53 PM) CdrTKirr: :: looks to her own little console :: Report, Mr. Tav.

(9:38:17 PM) ColDougMcKnight: Quinn> ::Grabs the access hatch and pulls it free, taking a deep breath before he commences yanking out damaged optical fibers:: Okay, let's dance.
(9:38:25 PM) JorvanTav: :: It would seem that we have some sensors now, thrusters are at 68%, but impulse and warp drive are still offline.
(9:38:56 PM) JorvanTav: (not sure why there is a double colon at the beginning of that, must be left over from a previous post I was thinking about putting up)
(9:39:34 PM) CdrTKirr: :: nods to herself :: Very good. Let us know as soon as anything else comes online.
(9:39:59 PM) CdrTKirr: :: quietly :: Now that we can see anything.
(9:40:10 PM) JorvanTav: Aye, sir.
(9:40:40 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: :: makes a quick adjustment to the thruster alignment to maintain their equilibrium ::
(9:43:39 PM) JorvanTav: :: thinks for a moment :: Captain, I have an idea I've always wanted to try. What if we were to rig up a probe so that it could sit at higher ground on the asteroid, a place where it can sense more of what is going on around us, and then I could have it send information back to us on a subspace frequency that I've found is almost undetectable, unless you know exactly what you are looking for? With the ultra-sensitive sensors on a Class VI
(9:45:08 PM) JorvanTav: Class VII probe, we might even be able to sense a cloaked ship.
(9:45:46 PM) CdrTKirr: :: peers in Tav's direction, quirking an eyebrow ::
(9:46:47 PM) JorvanTav: It would also give us a way to see what is going on out there, with a system that will work with our current power, until we have our sensors back to full capability.
(9:46:57 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Even those sensors aren't more refined than the ship's and we can't pick up a modern cloak on those. Still, it'll give us a better look. Relay the frequency to the shuttles via our forward running lights and have them join the network.
(9:47:03 PM) JorvanTav: :: turns and looks in the direction of the command seats ::
(9:47:09 PM) LtCmdrBusard: :: Checks the power levels before comming Blackthorne:: +Blackthorne+ Busard to Blackthorne. We are at 25 percent power.
(9:47:15 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: And launch the probe, if the launchers have power.
(9:47:25 PM) JorvanTav: :: turns back to his console :: Aye.
(9:47:30 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: +Busard+ That's great news, excellent work Commander.
(9:48:17 PM) LtCmdrBusard: +Blackthorne+ Thank you sir. We'll keep working on it, but the power seems to be increasing at a constant rate now.
(9:48:52 PM) CdrTKirr: :: monitors the network being formed on her panel ::
(9:49:26 PM) JorvanTav: :: sets the running lights Morse code frequencies, and places the order with the science team to rig up a battle probe. Since they've been working on what it has, they understand the request and will have the probe ready in no time ::
(9:49:35 PM) JorvanTav: Probe will be ready in one minute, Sir.
(9:49:54 PM) ColDougMcKnight: Quinn> ::Via the magic of Mike not being able to come up with any decent technobabble, Quinn nods in satisfaction as his preliminary simulation shows power running through the replacement circuitry normally, and re-seals the panel. ::
(9:50:04 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: +Busard+ Any news on impulse engines?
(9:52:15 PM) LtCmdrBusard: +Blackthorne+ Yes. Quinn is working on them as we speak. He gave me an ETA of 10 minutes to quarter impulse, and that was five minutes ago.
(9:52:20 PM) JorvanTav: :: upon getting the report that the probe is ready, sets it to launch under minimal power for a spot where it will remain hidden, but can see much of the space that Atlantis currently cannot. The transmitter is set to send its telemetry to all the craft who have the proper frequency information to be able to read it, but at a power that it will not be discovered by anyone who is simply monitoring Subspace for voice or data communication :
(9:53:11 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: +Busard+ Excellent.
(9:53:21 PM) CdrTKirr: :: watches the probe on sensors and stands by, anxious for any sign of detection ::
(9:53:32 PM) CdrTKirr: Nice work, Mr. Tav.
(9:54:15 PM) CdrHarper: :: flies along obliviously ::
(9:55:09 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: :: watches the incoming data ::
(9:56:09 PM) ColDougMcKnight: Quinn> +Busard+ Okay, Chief. Not quite a factor of 4 time shrink, but that should do it, and ahead of schedule. I can chase down all the relays where power's getting pinched off, unless you have something more urgent for me, but I think that was the only out and out blockage. You may advise Blackthorne to give engines a try whenever you think it most
(9:56:15 PM) ColDougMcKnight: dramatically appropriate.
(9:57:35 PM) JorvanTav: There we go... :: modulates the receivers to clear up the natural interference that makes the transmissions so difficult to detect :: We are getting reading from all directions now. All the Sharks are safe at this time... the Sakvay is off to our port, but well out of view due to the rock formations of this asteroid in the way. They'd be lucky to be able to spot us here. There are a few anomalies around, but none extra that weren't there
(9:57:54 PM) JorvanTav: before, and none extra that would say there is anything cloaked around. It appears that other than the Sakvay, we may be in the clear.
(9:58:32 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: If Ashexana is still here, that probe would not reveal her.
(9:59:10 PM) CdrTKirr: What about Sharks' sensors?
(9:59:32 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: She was able to fire a disruptor shot while cloaked; it's just too modern.
(10:00:05 PM) CdrTKirr: :: ponders ::
(10:00:10 PM) JorvanTav: Hmm...
(10:00:35 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: If we were dealing with a surplus cloak from last century, sure.
(10:00:38 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: +Busard+ Carre here, you have head protection on right?
(10:00:42 PM) LtCmdrBusard: +Quinn+ Thanks Rodney, keep doing what you're doing.
(10:01:23 PM) LtCmdrBusard: +Carre+ Yes, ma'am. Helmet is on, and appropriately awkward.
(10:01:36 PM) CdrTKirr: (Anyone at Tactical atm?)
(10:01:47 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: +Busard+ Very well. Hows your vision and your headache?
(10:01:54 PM) LtCmdrBusard: +Blackthorne+ Busard to Blackthorne. Quinn says quarter impulse is now available whenever you're ready.
(10:02:46 PM) LtCmdrBusard: +Carre+ Still a little blurry where vision is concerned, but I'm not feeling as disoriented. The headache is pretty dull now. How long does that hypo last?
(10:02:49 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: +Busard+ Good. Let me know when we have at least half impulse; we need better speed than that, just in case.
(10:03:09 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: SYvek> :: suddenly finds himself at Tactical ::
(10:03:17 PM) LtCmdrBusard: +Blackthorne+ Yessir.
(10:03:30 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: +Busard+ Evidently not long enough. I have a small amount of free time I'll come down and fix you up!
(10:03:31 PM) JorvanTav: (Those crazy Vulcans...)
(10:05:45 PM) LtCmdrBusard: +Carre+ Thanks Doc. How's Sick Bay looking right now?
(10:06:28 PM) CdrTKirr: :: looks to, oh look, Syvek :: How far to the phasers extend on the Sharks in a wide arc? How long would it take for the Sharks began an active sweep, from their current position to avoid giving ours away, and crossed our path?
(10:06:49 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: :: grabs some medical supplies and starts to head to engineering :: +Busard+ Everyones patched up at the moment, I'm headed your way, drug delivery!
(10:07:34 PM) LtCmdrBusard: +Carre+ We'll keep the door open for you. Oh hey, incidentally. :: Pushes the "Go" button after doing some power allocation:: ...The doors work now.
(10:07:46 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Syvek> Given the elapsed time since we launched the Sharks, I posit that they have completed their initial sweep, and any larger of a search area would be logistically impossible to complete.
(10:08:09 PM) JorvanTav: :: notes the doors working :: Good news, Admiral. The doors work. We can now move about the cabins.
(10:08:25 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Small luxuries and all.
(10:09:00 PM) CdrTKirr: :: takes the opportunity to visit the loo ::
(10:09:16 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: +Busard+ Very nice, be there in a couple.
(10:10:14 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: So, what you're saying Syvek, is that space is big?
(10:10:21 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Syvek> Quite.
(10:10:32 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: :: basks in the luxury of a working turbolift ::
(10:10:41 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: And I thought it was a long walk down to the corner chemist.
(10:13:03 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: :: wanders down the corridor to engineering, opens the door :: DELIVERY!
(10:13:25 PM) CdrTKirr: :: comes back, checks sensors, sits down ::
(10:13:55 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Syvek> Phasers and Quantum torpedos are online and powered.
(10:13:55 PM) LtCmdrBusard: Yay! It's like Christmas! :: Wanders over to Carre for her shot::
(10:14:27 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Amazing the effect having power has on phasers.
(10:14:49 PM) CdrTKirr: On everything, really.
(10:15:12 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: It's exaggerated when referring to energy weapons.
(10:15:28 PM) ColDougMcKnight: Quinn> :: Plugs his omnitool back into the ODN network to trace the power flow between here and the main impulse engine. The holographic display he brings to life in the dim tube represents power flow as essentially a pulsing blue river of varying widths...and it abruptly narrows two decks down.:: Well, you
(10:15:42 PM) CdrTKirr: :: nods, humoring him :: I got the reference.
(10:15:57 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: :: smirks ::
(10:16:04 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: :: waves her tricorder 'wand' around Percy's head :: Well your inter-cranial pressure is just a tad higher than before so thats probably why your focus isnt working.
(10:16:08 PM) ColDougMcKnight: 're not doing your part there, are you buster? Off we go. God, I forgot how much I fucking hate service ladders.
(10:16:47 PM) CdrTKirr: (( Psst, lifts are working ))
(10:17:32 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: ...Or isnt working as well as you would like. :: hypo's her up :: This will help with both the headache and
(10:17:49 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: ...focus.
(10:18:19 PM) ColDougMcKnight: (Oh, are they? Nix that last part, then. Thanks.)
(10:18:32 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: (Could be funny if a lift goes by :V )
(10:18:45 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: (*snicker*)
(10:18:48 PM) LtCmdrBusard: :: Sighs as she feels the hypo kicking in.:: Ahh, that's better. Thanks Doc.
(10:19:00 PM) LtCmdrBusard: :: Blinks a few times as her vision clears a bit more::
(10:19:07 PM) CdrTKirr: (Maybe he didn't know!)
(10:19:37 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: :: turns to T'Kirr :: Recall the shuttle fleet and their impromptu mines.
(10:19:55 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Quietly.
(10:20:01 PM) CdrTKirr: Of course.
(10:20:47 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: Okay, no strenuous activities, and nothing that gets your blood pressure up for another day. Then come see me. Also call if your vision or headache gets worse.
(10:20:49 PM) CdrTKirr: :: sends out low-powered message to McKnight on a subtle frequency :: +McKnight+ Time to come home.
(10:21:56 PM) ColDougMcKnight: +T'Kirr+ Are you guys back to something resembling fighting fit over there?
(10:22:15 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: It would be best if you would take the rest of the day off :: looks around at the frenzied activies ::, however, I'm presuming thats not going to happen.
(10:22:18 PM) CdrTKirr: Ash> :: sighs :: God, it feels like we've been out here forever. I never thought I'd say this, but get me out of this cockpit...
(10:22:21 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: :: could swear he heard a 300 baud connect tone ::
(10:22:34 PM) CdrHarper: :: does a barrel roll! ::
(10:23:06 PM) LtCmdrBusard: :: Sighs a little less happily that time:: Yeah, sorry...I'm kind of needed right now. But as soon as we're remotely in the clear I'll take a break. And...I guess we'll just have dinner when Doug gets back. :: Slight pout::
(10:24:03 PM) CdrTKirr: +McKnight+ :: sorry didn't mean to imply voice comm, but we'll go with it :: Weapons online, impulse rising. Bring the mines.
(10:24:18 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: :: hands Percy the requisite chocolate 'treat' :: That will work. Now, I'm off to get rid of the slackers hanging out in Sickbay. :: winks ::
(10:25:30 PM) LtCmdrBusard: :: With a little smile :: Give 'em hell, ma'am. :: Munching on her chocolate, Percy turns to get back to work::
(10:25:42 PM) JorvanTav: (just got on YouTube to hear a 300 baud connection)
(10:25:57 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: (haha!)
(10:26:00 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: :: yawns as she heads back to sickbay ::
(10:26:07 PM) LtCmdrBusard: (Is that anything like a bawd connection? Because that sounds dirty)
(10:26:08 PM) ColDougMcKnight: +T'Kirr+ Alright. But if we're still going low emissions, safely retrieving them all manually will take some time. Is there a time crunch I should know about?
(10:26:33 PM) CdrTKirr: +McKnight+ Not yet, just get started.
(10:26:38 PM) JorvanTav: (Having not been alive in 1964, the slowest I had heard was 4800 baud)
(10:26:55 PM) ColDougMcKnight: Quinn> ::Glares as a lift goes whooshing by past him on his ladder:: Oh, son of a whore. Okay, fuck it.
(10:27:02 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: (Try '84! :p )
(10:27:24 PM) CdrTKirr: +McKnight+ End of shift will do.
(10:27:44 PM) ColDougMcKnight: Quinn> ::Hops off his ladder, landing on the lift's roof to catch a ride down:: That's right. You caught the haunted lift, you lazy shit.
(10:27:45 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Just getting them ahead in time to roar out of here, and perhaps make Venya soil herself.
(10:28:14 PM) ColDougMcKnight: +T'Kirr+ Will do. McKnight out.
(10:29:42 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: :: enters sickbay, rousts the slackers out the door, goes for coffee :: Computer, triple shot mocha, extra cream, double sweet and top it with some whipped cream. :: yawns again ::
(10:30:26 PM) ColDougMcKnight: ::Taps out a morse code search light message to the nearest shuttle:: Mines ordered retrieved. Pass it on, and get to it
(10:31:13 PM) CdrTKirr: (Damn that's a coffee)
(10:32:05 PM) ColDougMcKnight: :: Once again ahead of his projected schedule, Quinn finds himself at the next target ODN site, and procceds to scan. :: Oh, finally a break. You've just got a couple connection's knocked loose.
(10:32:19 PM) ColDougMcKnight: (^Quinn)
(10:33:34 PM) ColDougMcKnight: Quinn> ::Pops open the panel. The most time consuming part of this task is just moving things out of the way without breaking them so he can tighten and secure the culprit connections:: Okay...that ought to be good for at least half impulse.
(10:33:47 PM) CdrTKirr: ODN> : grateful, flows now free of the bottleneck ::
(10:35:07 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: :: instantly sees a power surge ::
(10:35:45 PM) JorvanTav: :: notes the effects and verifies before saying anything :: It appears we have half impulse available now
(10:36:05 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: :: nods in satisfaction :: We may be slow, but we can dish out a beating. Get those shuttles aboard.
(10:37:47 PM) JorvanTav: Aye, Sir. They are on their way back now. First one will be docking in fifteen seconds.
(10:38:13 PM) LtCmdrBusard: :: Keeps an eye on the impulse drive readings, just to make sure they don't burn out::
(10:40:11 PM) ColDougMcKnight: :: That will not be him. He's further out, working his way through a perfect docking with a torpedo, in reverse:: They sure as hell never put this in the certification test run.
(10:40:39 PM) CdrTKirr: (Omg who taught you to drive... oh wait)
(10:40:56 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: :: takes a big swig off the coffee :: Ahhhh...that hits the spot.
(10:41:19 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: :: watches McKnight's flying on sensors with interest
(10:41:19 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: ;
(10:45:00 PM) ColDougMcKnight: ::Breathes a sigh of relief as the torpedo settles down onto the deck with only a soft thud. Closing up the rear hatch, he secures the torpedo for transport, and turns about, making for the shuttlebay doors at quarter impulse. Which, under the circumstances, is more than fast enough to get him there in short order. ::
(10:46:00 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: :: nods in satisfaction :: Nice flying, Colonel.
(10:46:59 PM) CdrTKirr: :: looks up expectantly ::
(10:47:12 PM) CdrTKirr: All shuttles aboard.
(10:47:26 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Shields up, Mr Syvek.
(10:47:45 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Syvek> Shields, aye. :: turns them on :: Seventy five percent at present.
(10:48:18 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Red alert, all hands to battlestations!
(10:48:33 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Syvek> :: sounds the horn ::
(10:48:55 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: :: carefully thrusters Atlantis out from between the asteroids, then dramatically surges out of the asteroid belt at half impulse ::
(10:48:59 PM) JorvanTav: :: locks in for the red alert. :: Sir, all areas report ready, as far as personnel go.
(10:49:27 PM) CdrHarper: +Sharks+ Atlantis sighted, form up!
(10:49:35 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: :: puts her head down on her desk and bangs her head :: Red alert! RED ALERT! :: whimpers ::
(10:49:58 PM) VenyaKashar [Mibbit@nrgh-64-700-283-748.rcmdva.fios.verizon.net] entered the room.
(10:50:06 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: ACTION> Nothing happens.
(10:50:31 PM) VenyaKashar: There's Atlantis! :: looks up suddenly from her boredom at the viewer ::
(10:50:43 PM) VenyaKashar: Hail them!
(10:50:45 PM) CdrTKirr: Ash> :: sights Atlantis and turns her bow ::
(10:51:12 PM) CdrHarper: :: banks hard and shoots toward the mothership ::
(10:51:13 PM) JorvanTav: :: notes the hail :: Sir, incoming message from Kashar.
(10:51:24 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: On screen.
(10:51:27 PM) LtCmdrBusard: Sid> :: Heads in formation towards Atlantis::
(10:51:35 PM) JorvanTav: :: puts the communication on screen ::
(10:51:41 PM) ColDougMcKnight: :: Steps off the lift onto the bridge, still armor clad, helmet tucked under his arm as he approaches tactical::
(10:51:47 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Greetings Ms. Kashar.
(10:52:06 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: SYvek> :: steps aside for the colonel, quietly gives him the status report ::
(10:52:21 PM) VenyaKashar: Glad to see you all in one piece, Admiral.
(10:52:30 PM) CdrTKirr: :: nods to McKnight ::
(10:52:41 PM) VenyaKashar: There's little time for pleasantries, though. Before she left, Ashexana made a threat against your colony out here.
(10:52:45 PM) CdrTKirr: :: squints at the main viewer ::
(10:52:49 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Gencodia?
(10:53:17 PM) VenyaKashar: :: nods :: She didn't say exactly what, but just implied that it would be a pity should something happen to the settlers there.
(10:53:42 PM) CdrTKirr: :: grips her armrests a bit more tightly ::
(10:54:33 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: :: senses no deception :: We need to make additonal repairs beyond what is necessary to be battleworthy. May we put in at Refuge?
(10:54:53 PM) VenyaKashar: Of course. My resources are at your disposal.
(10:55:11 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Thank you, Ms. Kashar. Atlantis out.
(10:55:45 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Tav, get me a coded subspace frequency, priority one, to Gencodia, and if the subspace transmitters aren't working, that's top priority for engineering.
(10:56:11 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: :: turns to T'Kirr :: Second priority is warp drive. We need warp nine or better ASAP.
(10:56:14 PM) JorvanTav: Aye, sir. :: keys in a frequency :: Ready, sir.
(10:56:21 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Recall the Sharks.
(10:56:33 PM) CdrTKirr: :: nods ::
(10:56:54 PM) ColDougMcKnight: ::Nods to Syvek:: Thank you, Lieutenant. You're dismissed.
(10:57:04 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Syvek> Sir. :: turns smartly and exits to NPCland ::
(10:57:16 PM) CdrTKirr: +Sharks+ Atlantis to Sharks, return to base.
(10:57:33 PM) VenyaKashar: Escort the Atlantis in and send orders ahead to make all resources available.
(10:57:41 PM) CdrTKirr: Ash> +Sharks+ No arguments here!
(10:57:44 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: :: turns Atlantis back toward the belt ::
(10:58:06 PM) VenyaKashar: +ATlantis+ Roger that, returning to base. :: zooms toward the assault bay doors which at least have a forcefield in place over the hole ::
(10:58:38 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: :: types out a warning and sends it to Gencodia ::
(10:58:50 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Fortunately, we do have ships in the area.
(10:59:43 PM) CdrHarper: :: catches the Atlantis as she heads into the belt and sets down on the AB deck :;
(10:59:57 PM) VenyaKashar left the room (quit: Quit: http://www.mibbit.com ajax IRC Client).
(11:00:30 PM) ColDougMcKnight: And I know Pendergast, sir. He's a good man. And we've got all the systems in place there to ensure they should have enough warning to get everyone to the underground complex.
(11:00:47 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: That would be a great shelter.
(11:00:56 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: PAUSE SIM
(11:00:57 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: PAUSE SIM
(11:00:59 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: PAUSE SIM
(11:01:03 PM) CdrTKirr: :: pauses ::
(11:01:05 PM) JorvanTav: :: pauses ::
(11:01:17 PM) LtCmdrBusard: :: Paused::
(11:01:21 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: :: le pause ::
(11:01:23 PM) ColDougMcKnight: :: paused ::
(11:01:27 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Well, told you we'd get back to Gencodia. :)
(11:01:39 PM) CdrTKirr: Yay. =)
(11:01:51 PM) JorvanTav: Damn. I wanted to try this great restaurant at the end of the universe.
(11:01:53 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: :: Wonders if her still up and working ::
(11:02:50 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Now we need warp drive and as much more as we can muster!
(11:03:35 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Will Atlantis arrive in time to help defend the colony? :: cue organ music :: Find out next week on another exciting episode of Star Trek: Atlantis!
(11:04:04 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Couple things
(11:04:23 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: First, dig the latest addition to the website! 14 years of searchable chatlogs!
(11:04:37 PM) ColDougMcKnight: Sweet.
(11:04:48 PM) CdrTKirr: I just saw, going to try it out. ^_^
(11:05:03 PM) JorvanTav: I have a comment there that needs to be moderated.
(11:05:09 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Did that.
(11:05:17 PM) JorvanTav: Cool :)
(11:05:18 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: It only holds your comment on the first time you comment.
(11:05:27 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Now youre approved and good to go
(11:05:30 PM) JorvanTav: Ah.
(11:05:38 PM) JorvanTav: Very cool. And cooler still.
(11:06:02 PM) CdrTKirr: Comments are useful feedback. =)
(11:06:44 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Secondly, I'd like to ask if there's anything I can do to make the website more of a community. It sometimes feels like I'm posting in a black hole since there are hardly responses.
(11:07:20 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: Hmm, betcha people forgot their login info. >.>
(11:07:25 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: <.<
(11:07:40 PM) DrRoxanneCarre: Not that I'd mention any names or anything!
(11:07:41 PM) CdrTKirr: Wondering myself, I don't seem to be getting notifications of posts
(11:08:02 PM) CdrTKirr: You modified something recently to send emails, I think?
(11:08:06 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Anything in your spam folder?
(11:08:14 PM) CdrTKirr: Err, lemme check =X
(11:08:27 PM) CdrTKirr: Thought I took care of that though...
(11:08:39 PM) VAdmBlackthorne: Since the email claims to come from me, but isn't actually sent by me, it can get flagged as spam.
(11:15:02 PM) CdrHarper left the room (quit: Quit: http://www.mibbit.com ajax IRC Client).
