AIM Chat with MCptAdamDrake, MajorAZinthys, Kiley Airell, elriovtridrys, ltjgdellis.

7:30 PM

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: So, sometimes people like to read something new once in a while

MCptAdamDrake: Admiral on Deck!

ElRiov trIdrys: Evening Admiral!

vadmblackthorne: Evening, everyone!

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: Evening Admiral

MCptAdamDrake: It's new every week...

MCptAdamDrake: *month

MajorAZinthys: And, Idrys, I don't want to know what sheep you are on.

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: lol.. you know what I meant

MCptAdamDrake: ::grins::

ElRiov trIdrys: Dat vhat Keptin alvays tell us on Hood.  Ees sheep.

vadmblackthorne: ::makes a note about Hood::

MajorAZinthys: ::quirks an eyebrow::

WillFMarlowe has joined this chat.

ElRiov trIdrys: LOL

ElRiov trIdrys: Evening Marlowe

WillFMarlowe: Hallo.

vadmblackthorne: Evening, Marlowe.

MCptAdamDrake: Evening Will! ::waves::

vadmblackthorne: Well, let's get this party started.

MajorAZinthys: ::whips out the ol' shiny silver whistle::

MajorAZinthys: TweeeeTTTTTTTTTTT!!

ElRiov trIdrys: ::AA::

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: ::AA::

MajorAZinthys: Attention!!

WillFMarlowe: ::AA::

MCptAdamDrake: ::@@::

Kiley Airell: ::AA::

MajorAZinthys: ::giver Marlowe a brownie::

7:35 PM

vadmblackthorne: Alright, tonight we're still dealing with the large chunk of the bottom of the ship that was blown away by the crystalline ship.

vadmblackthorne: Drake, care to brief us on Engineering's progress?

MCptAdamDrake: ::nods:: Sure thing, Admiral.

MCptAdamDrake: The Engineer crew has established emergency containment forcefields around decks twenty-two through twenty-four and pressurized those areas. Transporters are off-line. Turbolifts leading to any deck below twenty are as well.

MCptAdamDrake: Impulse engines are still off-line, and warp is even further out of the question.

MCptAdamDrake: Manuevering thrusters only, sir. ::nods and steps back::

vadmblackthorne: And there you have it.

vadmblackthorne: Sickbay is full of injured people, including me, and we still are unsure of how many were outright lost in the attack.

vadmblackthorne: Questions?

MCptAdamDrake: ::shakes head:: No, sir.

7:40 PM

vadmblackthorne: Alright, then.

vadmblackthorne: BEGIN SIM

vadmblackthorne: BEGIN SIM

vadmblackthorne: BEGIN SIM

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: ::making her way to a shuttle bay::

MajorAZinthys: ::Still at tactical, playing traffic director::

vadmblackthorne: ::laying on a biobed in sickbay, snoring::

Kiley Airell: ::in sickbay, treating patients as they come in. Takes a moment to check on the Admiral::

MCptAdamDrake: ::looking at an output terminal:: Jeddin?

MCptAdamDrake: Jeddin> ::turns from talking with a few people and walks over:: Yes, sir?

MCptAdamDrake: What's the duration left until we have impulse engines?

ElRiov trIdrys: ::in sickbay, working on patients::

WillFMarlowe: ::hunched over a patient in sickbay::

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: (You might wanna give him a no-snore nose gaurd, Kiley)

MCptAdamDrake: Jeddin> ::Taps a PADD and thinks for a bit and then makes a few calculations:: About an hour, sir. I've got two teams working on it now - the helm circuits were fried in the attack and the main plasma relays were fused.

Kiley Airell: (LOL . . . naw . . . we could use the noise in sickbay . . . better then the cries of agony)

MCptAdamDrake: All of them?

MCptAdamDrake: Jeddin> ::nods:: Yes, Captain. The plasma couldn't get to the impulse reactor chambers even if we wanted it to.

vadmblackthorne: ::opens his eyes::

vadmblackthorne: ::hears a cry of agony::

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: ::walks into the shuttle bay and looks at the mess:: Well finding one that works sould be fun..

MCptAdamDrake: So we have to replace the relays and that's a crap load of relays, how many will we have left?

WillFMarlowe: Dammit! Where's that anaesthetic I ordered?

MCptAdamDrake: Jeddin> Three, sir, but I'm hoping we'll head straight back to Starbase for that.

MajorAZinthys: ::Runs more scans on the crystal fragments floating around the ship::

MCptAdamDrake: ::nods:: As do I, Michael, as do I.

Kiley Airell: How are you feeling Admiral? ::runs a quick scan::

7:45 PM

vadmblackthorne: Better than I was.

MCptAdamDrake: Weapons status?

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: ::finds one that works good enough:: +Zinthys+ Perpareing to depart shuttle bay, Major..

Kiley Airell: That's good to hear. Would hate for you to be feeling worse.

MCptAdamDrake: Jeddin> One hundred percent on both phaser arrays and torpedo launchers sir, full complement of torpedos as well - give or take a couple.

ElRiov trIdrys: :::finishes work on patient, moves to next one:::

MajorAZinthys: +Ellis+ Good. Hurry up, Lieutenant Ellis. Those crystals are drifting away.

MCptAdamDrake: Containment integrity?

MCptAdamDrake: Jeddin> We're full on the upper two decks, but deck twenty-four has sagged to eighty-eight.

WillFMarlowe: Davis--no. I said . . . ::finishes with a dermal regenerator and puts it aside:: Let me see.

MajorAZinthys: <<We can't move, but we can shoot.... a lot>>

MCptAdamDrake: Reason? ::taps a PADD and gazes at Michael::

MCptAdamDrake: Jeddin> The science sensors in that area are interfering with the primay EM relays. The sensors are drawing the power we could use for the containment.

MCptAdamDrake: Depressurization?

ElRiov trIdrys: T'Nal > ::assisting::

MCptAdamDrake: Jeddin> ::shakes head:: No, sir. It won't do that until sixty percent at the highest.

vadmblackthorne: How am I really doing?

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: ::starts up the shuttle which now feels very slow and bluky compared to the fighters.. slow starts to take it out of the bay and towards the debris::

ElRiov trIdrys: ::q:: Been a while since I heard you sneezing. How've you been lately?

Kiley Airell: You want the honest truth?

Kiley Airell: You're going to live.

vadmblackthorne: Drat. ::chuckles::

Kiley Airell: and you'll recover fully

MCptAdamDrake: ::nods:: Handle Engineering, Michael, I need to talk with someone.

MCptAdamDrake: Jeddin> ::nods:: Aye, sir.

vadmblackthorne: I was wondering more along the lines of when I can leave.

MCptAdamDrake: ::walks out of Engineering and to the nearest turbolift:: +Ellis+ Drake to Ellis.

Kiley Airell: ::grins:: I think the Major is sorry to hear that too.

ElRiov trIdrys: T'Nal > Doing all right, thanks. ::smiles under her mask::

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: +Drake+ Ellis here. It's your dime..

Kiley Airell: I know Admiral. I would like you stay for at least another twenty minutes, just for observation's sake. Want to make sure that being conscious doesn't kill ya.

ElRiov trIdrys: :::finishes with another patient & moves to the next one::: Good, I'm glad to hear that.

MCptAdamDrake: ::blinks:: Dime? +Ellis+ I am taking the ventral lateral sensor strip offline to shunt more power to the containment field, care to assist me?

vadmblackthorne: Can I at least sit up?

Kiley Airell: ::nods:: Sure

WillFMarlowe: ::to his nurse assistant:: Close up here. ::moves from behind the patient he was working on formerly and approaches an injured crewman awaiting treatment::

ElRiov trIdrys: (( obsolete earth currency, Drake  ))

7:50 PM

Kiley Airell: In about 10 minutes you can even walk around sickbay.

vadmblackthorne: ::Sits::

vadmblackthorne: Well, that at least works.

vadmblackthorne: So, what exactly was wrong with me when I came in here?

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: ::starts to beam bits of crystals into contaiers:: +Drake+ I'm not on the ship at the moment, Captain..

MajorAZinthys: ::Furrows his brow::

MajorAZinthys: ::Shunts the sensor logs from the fight to a small display on his console::

WillFMarlowe: Davis> He's got three broken ribs. It looks like one punctured an organ.

MCptAdamDrake: ::smiles:: +Ellis+ My apologies, I think I can handle it myself. Just wanted to let you know what I was doing.

WillFMarlowe: Why didn't you put a brace on him?

MajorAZinthys: ::Goes over the part where the ship regenerated in quite slow motion::

Kiley Airell: broken ribs, broken arm, and the reason you're still hear is that you broke your head.

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: +Drake+ Thanks for the offer, Drake.. Maybe next time we get blown up by jewlery

MCptAdamDrake: ::laughs:: +Ellis+ Agreed, Drake out.

MCptAdamDrake: ::walks BACK into engineering:: Michael, disengage the power systems to the ventral lateral sensor array and put the addition power into the containment field.

WillFMarlowe: Davis> We didn't think he was in that much danger. He kept telling us he felt fine.

vadmblackthorne: One could argue that it was already broken.

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: ::kicks at the consoul when she feels the left thruster flux::

Kiley Airell: Very true.

WillFMarlowe: ::rolls his eyes:: Everybody's a tough guy. ::scans:: I'll take him after my next one.

ElRiov trIdrys: :::finishes with patient ... stretches and heads to replicator::: Tea, hot. :::takes mug and sips:::

7:55 PM

Kiley Airell: You feeling any adverse affects from sitting up Admiral?

vadmblackthorne: Feelin' fine.

MCptAdamDrake: Potter! I want our warp bubble to be stabilized as soon as possible! ::calls up to the second level::

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: ::looking out the window at all the fragments:: What I wouldn't give for a sliver setting right about now..

MCptAdamDrake: Potter> ::leans over the banister:: It's going to be extremely hard to do that, sir, when we have half the bottom of the ship missing. Warp field isn't going to hold. If it would, I could only guarantee warp two at best.

Kiley Airell: No dizziness, lightheadedness, seeing spots, dimmed vission, anything like that?

MCptAdamDrake: ::nods:: Get on it.

MCptAdamDrake: Potter> ::nods and disappears:: Aye, Captain.

WillFMarlowe: ::returns to a biobed newly burdened with a burn victim::

ElRiov trIdrys: ::heads back to biobeds:: Longer stretch than I imagined at the Academy T'Nal ...

ElRiov trIdrys: :::resumes work:::

vadmblackthorne: Not at all.

Kiley Airell: Alright, why don't you walk around for a bit and see how you feel.

ElRiov trIdrys: T'Nal > Nobody said it would be cookies and milk, Hakkie.

MCptAdamDrake: Jackson> What's the status of the turbolifts?

vadmblackthorne: ::swings his legs off the biobed::

vadmblackthorne: ::stands::

MCptAdamDrake: I don't know, ensign, you tell me.

WillFMarlowe: ::uses a series of dermal regenerators and stimulators to clear away the dead tissue::

ElRiov trIdrys: ::gives her a "why did you call me that?" look before returning to work::

LtDougMcKnight has joined this chat.

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: +Zinthys+ I have several samples, Major.. Shall I return our continues scans from out here?

Kiley Airell: (Hey McKnight)

MCptAdamDrake: Jackson> ::looks confused, accesses a panel, then returns to Drake:: The main gravimatric stabilizers on the lower deck turbolifts are offline because of the depressurization - safety procedure.

ElRiov trIdrys: ( Evening McKnight )

MCptAdamDrake: Well, now that it's pressurized again, can we reinitialize the stabilizers?

vadmblackthorne: <<Hey, McKNight>

MCptAdamDrake: Jackson> ::nods:: I believe so, sir.

MCptAdamDrake: ::nods:: Do it.

WillFMarlowe: ((Hullo, McKnight))

MCptAdamDrake: {{::waves:: Heya Doug! }}

MajorAZinthys: +Ellis+ Bring a small sample back to the ship. It should be interesting to see how it behave away from the rest of the ship.

vadmblackthorne: That seems to work.

Kiley Airell: Well, so far so good.

LtDougMcKnight: (Hey folks. Don't mind me; I can't stay long, or I'll end up getting no more work done tonight. Just got back from the library, and I thought I'd take 5.)

Kiley Airell: ((Sounds like fun!))

MCptAdamDrake: Jackson> ::nods:: On it, sir. ::scampers away::

8:00 PM

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: +Zinthys+ Aye Sir.. I'll run one more scan and make my way back.. Ellis out..

vadmblackthorne: ::walks around the biobed::

vadmblackthorne: No problems.

Kiley Airell: ::hands the admiral a PADD for him to read:: Here, it's the current stats on sickbay. Why don't you read over it.

WillFMarlowe: Davis> ::moves among those waiting for treatment, hypospray in hand, administering medication, keeping the patients comfortable::

MCptAdamDrake: ::checks 'turbolifts' off the list of things to do::

vadmblackthorne: ::reads, frowns::

MajorAZinthys: ::Watches as the displaced fragments of the ship, in slo-mo, replaced themselves, thus rebuilding the damaged section of the ship::

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: ::heads back to the ship with her sample safe in a haz-box::

MajorAZinthys: ::Thinks: "This could be bad. This could be very bad."::

Kiley Airell: ::is more curious to see if he has any trouble reading than anything else::

MCptAdamDrake: Langston> ::Calls from the top:: Chief! You may want to come up here and take a look at this...

WillFMarlowe: ::leaves a tech to finish with the regeneration sequence and moves to an adjacent biobed to go to work on the man with the broken ribs::

MajorAZinthys: <<That's never good...>>

vadmblackthorne: These are sobering.

MCptAdamDrake: ::climbs up the ladder:: What's the matter?

Kiley Airell: ::nods:: you're one of the lucky ones Admiral. Did you have any difficulties reading? Headache at all?

8:05 PM

MCptAdamDrake: Langston> ::Taps a console and points to the display:: We have no anti-matter. We lost both pods containment when we were attacked. Emergency containment fields went up, but we can't reintegrate it to our systems.

vadmblackthorne: Not at all.

MCptAdamDrake: That's going to make warp travel difficult, as well as additional power use.

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: ::brings the shuttle back in::

vadmblackthorne: I would like you to make sure my night-blindness correction surgery wasn't undone by that hard slam into the wall.

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: Man know I get how it feels to go from a spider to lincoln.. Geesh.. ::grabs sample and heads for a sci lab::

MCptAdamDrake: Langston> ::nods:: There's more. ::We also lost all of our deuterium holding tanks. Even if we could get the warp back on-line - we couldn't hold it for more than what's in the chamber. Four hours, maybe less.

ElRiov trIdrys: :::finishes with patient & moves to next one:::

Kiley Airell: I will say this, from what I can tell, the surgery most likely has not been undone Admiral. But I won't have a clearer picture till your brain heals more.

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: Computer download all data scanned int the shuttle to sci lab 3b..

vadmblackthorne: What about my eyeballs?

Kiley Airell: What about them Admiral?

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: Computer> ::hisses and beeps::

LtDougMcKnight: (Alright, it's been 5. Gotta go. Enjoy the rest of the sim folks. See you next week!)

Kiley Airell: (night night)

MCptAdamDrake: {{Night!}}

LtDougMcKnight has left this chat.

WillFMarlowe: ::examines the injury and, finding it too complicated to repair without breaking the skin, looks up at Davis and nods to the biobed reserved for cases requiring surgery::

8:10 PM

vadmblackthorne: That's where the surgery was done.

WillFMarlowe: ::the forcefield snaps into place and there is a slight hiss as the air within is sterilized::

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: ::enters the lab and starts to set up an isolation chamber for the fragment::

ElRiov trIdrys: :::leans over a bit:::

ElRiov trIdrys: T'Nal > ::mops his brow:::

ElRiov trIdrys: ::nods:: Thanks ... ::continues with work::

MCptAdamDrake: This is quite the predicament. This won't affect impulse, though. We'll focus our efforts there.

MCptAdamDrake: Jeddin> News from the impulse engine team sir! ::Calls from below:: They've got all put one of the relays fixed, the initiation relays in the fourth one are stuck in the open position - they won't seal.

MCptAdamDrake: ::nods and calls down:: Tell them I'll be there shortly.

WillFMarlowe: ::slides a clear surgical visor over his face and turns to Davis, who pulls a pair of gloves onto Marlowe's hands while another tech preps the crewman:: All right. ::turns to the injured man:: Sleep tight.

MCptAdamDrake: Keep me informed Langston...this may be more problematic than I thought.

WillFMarlowe: Davis> ::puts the man under::

MCptAdamDrake: +Bridge+ Drake to the Bridge. ::as he climbs down the ladder::

8:15 PM

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: ::puts the fragment into the chamber and seals it:: Computer, analyze the fragment in the chamber. Began at a level three scan and pergress from there..

Kiley Airell: Does that satisfy your answer?

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: ::going though the sensor data::

WillFMarlowe: ::picks up a laser scalpel and makes an incision::

Kiley Airell: ((errr . . . question not answer))

vadmblackthorne: ((If you replied, I don't see it))

MajorAZinthys: <<::blinks::>>

Kiley Airell: ((I did . . . I'll repeat))

MCptAdamDrake: {{I didn't see it.}}

MCptAdamDrake: ::steps down and walks across the deck, snagging a toolkit:: +Bridge+ Drake to the Bridge.

MajorAZinthys: +Drake+ Go ahead.

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: (::rubs eyes:: Ok I could have sworn that said snuggling a tool kit.. ::laughs:: 0

MCptAdamDrake: +Zinthys+ We may have a problem with the warp engines, Major.

MajorAZinthys: <<LoL, that would be a little weird, even for Drake>>

ElRiov trIdrys: ( better snuggling than smuggling!  )

MajorAZinthys: +Drake+ So I've noticed.

MajorAZinthys: +Drake+ What is it this time?

MCptAdamDrake: +Zinthys+ We have no anti-matter or deuterium. We have what's left in the dilithium matrix, deutrium injectors, and the anti-matter reactors. Speculated, we have about four hours or less of warp travel.

MCptAdamDrake: +Zinthys+ And, given the state of affairs down on those decks, it's raising hell with our warp bubble integrity field. We'd have, at maximum, warp two for those four hours.

8:20 PM

ElRiov trIdrys: :::keeps working::: ::qm:: I know it's part of the profession but all this ... ::shakes head::

MajorAZinthys: +Drake+ That's not feasible. The nearest starbase would take... ::Checks his console:: a good week at warp 2.

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: ::smacks and kicks the computer when it gets all fuzzy and crappy:: I thought they were working on this problem

ElRiov trIdrys: T'Nal > ::continuing to assist:: Well, that's what they told us to expect in medical school ... right?

vadmblackthorne: That makes sense.

MCptAdamDrake: +Zinthys+ Agreed, Major. I'll have to brainstorm some ideas. I'm working on impulse as we speak. ::throws himself under the console::

Kiley Airell: If you have any troubles with your vission, any dizziness or start seeing spots, return to sickbay immediately.

ElRiov trIdrys: ::nodnod:: True ... it's just so different, they give you simulations and then when you're in a situation like this for the first time and lives are really at stake ... ::shakes head:: hits you real hard.

MajorAZinthys: +Drake+ Do you still have teams in the lower decks?

WillFMarlowe: All right . . . Davis, you'll have to hold the bone like this. ::picks up an osteoregenerator::

vadmblackthorne: Alright.

MajorAZinthys: ::Sees the "incoming message" light blinking::

vadmblackthorne: Thank you, doctor.

MCptAdamDrake: +Zinthys+ I've got teams finishing up the turbolifts on the lower decks. I'm working with impulse engines now. Other than that they're all working on primary systems and warming up the warp reactor again.

Kiley Airell: Then you can go. Remember, no more then 10 hours in a 24 hour period Admiral.

vadmblackthorne: 10 hours of?

Kiley Airell: work

Kiley Airell: the rest of the time you need to be resting.

vadmblackthorne: ::chuckls::

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: +Zinthys+ Major, I have the sample contained, but data gathering is going to take awhile at this rate ::mutters:: Stupid pile of circuitry,,

weisangelserene has joined this chat.

vadmblackthorne: Thank you, doctor.

MajorAZinthys: +Drake+ Make sure they clean out the area of any cystalline debris. I don't want any of that on the ship.

vadmblackthorne: ::heads for the door::

Kiley Airell: ::will let Zinthys know the work restrictions on the Admiral as soon as he leaves::

MajorAZinthys: +Ellis+ Is there a problem, Lieutenant?

8:25 PM

WillFMarlowe: ::slowly, the man's rib knits:: Suction. ::a tech clears away some of the blood and fluid flowing from wounds caused by the renegade rib::

MajorAZinthys: ::Taps on the console and sees the sender of the message::

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: +Zinthys+ Nothing a good kick won't fix, Major..

MajorAZinthys: +Ellis+ Hold on for a moment.

vadmblackthorne: ::enters the TL and directs it to his quarters::

Kiley Airell: +Zinthys+Dr. Airell to Major Zinthys.

MajorAZinthys: ::Brings up the viewscreen:: Greetings. I am Major Allen Zinthys of the Atlantis.

MajorAZinthys: ::puts KA on call waiting with Ellis::

MajorAZinthys: Guy on viewscreen> This is Captain David Santiago of the Discovery. Good to the Atlantis still alive.

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: ::listens to the comm hold music..::

MajorAZinthys: <<...to see the...>>

MCptAdamDrake: ::adjusts the internal components:: EM relays are holding steady... clamps are stuck open because of the power flow.

ElRiov trIdrys: ( Oh my GAWD they have Muzak 400 years from now??  )

MajorAZinthys: Santiago> We got your distress signal and will be there in... oh, say, five minutes.

MajorAZinthys: Excellent. I'll let the admiral know.

MCptAdamDrake: ::takes a hydrospanner and readjusts the electrical circuitry::

vadmblackthorne: ::changes into a fresh uniform, combs his hair, and washes his face::

ElRiov trIdrys: ::finishes with patient and moves to replicator and downs a quick tea ... returns to work::

MajorAZinthys: Santiago> I'll have our engineering team coordinate with yours.

MCptAdamDrake: ::watches as the clamps reset, reinitialize, and seal around the new relays::

MajorAZinthys: Sounds like a plan.

WillFMarlowe: Davis, finish with the ribs. ::to the tech:: Hold the bones in place for him.

MCptAdamDrake: ::smiles:: Sweet!

MCptAdamDrake: +Engineering+ Drake to Engineering, we have impulse power.

MajorAZinthys: Santiago> Good. Discovery out.

MCptAdamDrake: Jeddin> +Drake+ Aye, Captain.

Kiley Airell: ::moves off to treat another patient while waiting for the Major to respond::

MCptAdamDrake: +Jeddin+ Reinitialize the power systems for the relays.

vadmblackthorne: ::looks at himself, then shaves::

MajorAZinthys: +Ellis+ Do the best with what you have, Lieutenant.

MCptAdamDrake: Jeddin> +Drake+ One step ahead of you.

ElRiov trIdrys: T'Nal > You getting tired?

MajorAZinthys: +KA+ Major Zinthys here.

8:30 PM

WillFMarlowe: ::hands Davis the osteoregenerator and applies a tissue regenerator to the damaged organs::

MCptAdamDrake: ::crawls out from underneath the console::

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: ::thinks.. he put me on hold to tell me that?:: +Zinthys+ Always do, Major..

MCptAdamDrake: ::snags his toolkit and walks back out of the impulse engine power relay room::

ElRiov trIdrys: ::m:: Eh nothing that a good rest later won't take care of. And man my back is in knots.

MajorAZinthys: +Ellis+ Is there anything else?

Kiley Airell: +Zinthys+ Just wanted to let you know that I released the admiral, but I put him on work restriction. No more then 10 hours of work in a 24 hours period. No strenous work either.

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: ::watching the fragment float in the chamber:: +Zinthys+ No Sir..

MajorAZinthys: +Ellis+ Very well. Zinthys out.

vadmblackthorne: ::exits his quarters::

vadmblackthorne: ::Enters the TL:: Bridge.

MCptAdamDrake: ::walks into engineering:: OK, what's the status on our warp engines?

MajorAZinthys: +KA+ ::laughs:: So I should expect him to be doing whatever he can up here 16 hours a day, correct?

ElRiov trIdrys: T'Nal > You know I can fix that ...

Kiley Airell: +Zinthys+I expect that he'll try Major.

ElRiov trIdrys: That you can.

MajorAZinthys: +KA+ I'll bear that in mind.

MCptAdamDrake: Kellings> It looks like their plasma intake manifolds are off-line and detached from main power matrix for each nacelle.

Kiley Airell: +Zinthys+Also Major, if you notice him having any trouble with his balance or seeming to be lightheaded, make sure you contact sickbay immediately.

MCptAdamDrake: ::nods:: And the warp bubble?

MCptAdamDrake: Langston> Too much debris to even bother trying at this point.

MCptAdamDrake: Speaking of debris, any on board?

MajorAZinthys: +KA+ I will.

MCptAdamDrake: Jeddin> ::shakes head:: No, sir, none that we've detected.

MCptAdamDrake: What's the status of our internal sensors?

Kiley Airell: +Zinthys+ Good.

MCptAdamDrake: Langston> One hundred percent, sir, they weren't affected in the attack.

vadmblackthorne: ::arrives on the bridge::

vadmblackthorne: ::looks over and sees an Ian-shaped dent in the bulkhead, winces::

Kiley Airell: ::goes back to treating a patient::

MajorAZinthys: +KA+ Zinthys out.

MajorAZinthys: ::Sees Ian:: Admiral on the bridge!

8:35 PM

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: ::watching the fragment as the computer washs in it red and blue lights:: What are you?

MCptAdamDrake: Good. Get some teams on reattaching the power matrix to the plasma intake manifolds. As for the debris, inversely magnetize the hull in that area - that should repel most of the debris around the area.

MCptAdamDrake: Oliver> ::turns around:: That would put considerable strain on what power reserves we have left, sir.

vadmblackthorne: Report, Major.

MCptAdamDrake: Until help arrives, Mr. Oliver, we need to do whatever we can to get the hell out of here. We're in no position to be picky.

Kiley Airell: ::moves over to Idrys:: How are things going?

WillFMarlowe: Okay. That'll hold him for now. Davis, close up here. ::the forcefield snaps open as Marlowe moves on to another patient, then activates again while Davis and the tech finish::

ElRiov trIdrys: Slow but sure, Doctor. How about with you?

MajorAZinthys: The Discovery is almost here. I just got done speaking with Captain Santiago. The main plan right now is to coordinate engineering teams to patch up what we can.

ElRiov trIdrys: ::continuing work::

WillFMarlowe: ::tugs off the gloves and visor and desposits them in a biowaste container in a little-used corner of sickbay::

MajorAZinthys: Impulse, phasers, nad torpedoes are good. Warp is not.

Kiley Airell: About the same . . . At least the patients are trickling down.

vadmblackthorne: (( Nad Torpedoes??!?! OWWWWWW ))

MCptAdamDrake: {{::grins::}}

WillFMarlowe: ::sterilizes his hands and returns to treating injured crewmembers::

ElRiov trIdrys: ::nods:: Yes I think we're getting towards the end of the assembly line so to speak.

vadmblackthorne: Any chance of us getting out of this without being towed?

MajorAZinthys: Should we manage to get warp online, we'll only have around four hours worth. All of the storage was destroyed with the bottom decks.

Kiley Airell: ::nods:: keep up the good work. ::moves over to Marlowe::

ElRiov trIdrys: (( Nad torpedoes. For when you really want to kick the enemy in the ...  ))

WillFMarlowe: ::looks up from a burned arm:: Doctor?

MCptAdamDrake: {{::falls off chair laughing:: }}

MajorAZinthys: ::Holds up a finger:: Even with warp going, with it damaged, he could only safely sustain warp two. This doesn't even put us halfway to stardock.

Kiley Airell: Just wanted to see how you're doing.

vadmblackthorne: ::nods::

vadmblackthorne: Any idea of how many people we lost?

MajorAZinthys: I would talk to Drake about the possibility of being towed. I'm not sure the hull could take the stress.

WillFMarlowe: ::looks around at all the wounded, then back at Airell:: I could be worse.

8:40 PM

MajorAZinthys: ::Shakes head:: Casualties are in the hundreds, that's for sure. We won't know exactly how many are gone until a formal roll call can be done.

Kiley Airell: ::nods:: very true.

MCptAdamDrake: ::looks at a PADD:: We're going to need a lot more than a couple of engineering teams for this mess. We need a Starbase or a repair ship.

WillFMarlowe: What about you?

Kiley Airell: Hanging in there.

MajorAZinthys: Everybody that's available is at their post right now, which is good because we need the people, but could be a problem in a few hours with fatigue setting in.

vadmblackthorne: Any conclusions on the enemy?

WillFMarlowe: Any idea how many more we've got waiting?

MCptAdamDrake: ::rubs his eyes:: Transporters are still out, as is the warp nacelles.

MajorAZinthys: The ship regenerates extremely quickly.

MajorAZinthys: Watch.

Kiley Airell: Not to many more. Starting to get to the less serious cases.

MCptAdamDrake: ::turns to Jeddin:: What about shields?

WillFMarlowe: ::nods::

MajorAZinthys: ::Shows on the viewscreen a shot of the debris field:: This is what remained of the ship immediately after it was destroyed.

MCptAdamDrake: Jeddin> They seem mostly unaffected, the main attack didn't hit the shield generators at all.

MajorAZinthys: ::Switches over to the live feed:: This is it now.

MajorAZinthys: As you can see, the debris is moving away from the ship and closer together.

vadmblackthorne: Can we stop it? Destroy the debris?

MajorAZinthys: I have Lieutenant Ellis looking into the matter now, but I believe that, given time, the ship will regenerate.

ElRiov trIdrys: ::finishes with patient and heads back to the replicator ... gets tea and drinks for a minute ... heads back:::

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: ::watchs as the fragment starts to move a little faster::

Kiley Airell: Keep up the good work. ::moves off to treat another patient::

ElRiov trIdrys: T'Nal > ::raises brow:: Hakkie all that caffeine isn't going to be good for you in the end you know.

8:45 PM

MajorAZinthys: I don't know if we can stop it. Delay it indefinetly, perhaps.

ElRiov trIdrys: ::shrugs:: Gotta keep working though ... ::puts on new set of gloves and sets back to work::

vadmblackthorne: We need to learn everything we can about them, as I'm betting they have friends that Starfleet will want to know about.

MajorAZinthys: ::Nods:: I don't doubt that.

WillFMarlowe: ::finishes with the burned arm and moves on to a patient with injures that are, as Airell predicted, less severe than the last::

MajorAZinthys: I've also been going over the sensor logs. Trying to determine anything that would show us that the ship was present and cloaked.

vadmblackthorne: Found anything?

MajorAZinthys: I can't find a damn thing. It's invisible... not just visually, but to everything. It's, for all intents and purposes, not even there.

vadmblackthorne: ::frowns::

MajorAZinthys: At least, not until the moment Lieutenant Ellis accidentally shot it.

Lt  jg  D  Ellis: ::reading over all the incoming data:: Hmm.. Lets try going deeper, we already know it's a crystle.. ::makes the lights pink and orange now::

8:50 PM

vadmblackthorne: Alright. Get with Drake and find out if we can be towed, and let's find out who we're missing.

MajorAZinthys: Yessir.
